Indiana's Special Education Document and Response to Intervention

Article 7 is Indian's Special Education Document and also provides important connections to RTI in many ways, especially in the areas involving reading instruction. As an example, for  students to become eligible for special education, they must receive "appropriate" training in specific areas listed in Article 7. To keep aware of how the children are doing in the areas, a teacher must observe and record their results thoroughly. RTI is a practice that is very efficient in this task.
